Salary: £90 - £100/day

Learning support assistant
Are you a confident, passionate individual with a genuine desire to support children's learning and progress? Do you want to join a forward-thinking, nurturing school community where your role will make a daily impact?
Teach Now is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to join a warm and welcoming Church of England all-through school in Barnet. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both Reception and Year 2, supporting pupils at key developmental stages in a school that values strong relationships, academic progress, and joyful learning.

about the school:
This unique all-through setting is part of a family of schools united by a shared educational philosophy — high expectations, inclusive values, and consistent, caring support for every child. The school benefits from excellent facilities, a strong sense of community, and a team of dedicated educators who work collaboratively to ensure that every child thrives.
Staff are deeply committed to nurturing students' academic progress while supporting their personal development. As a Learning Support Assistant here, you'll be truly valued, and your professional growth will be encouraged.

about the role:
You'll provide key classroom support in both Reception and Year 2 - the two year groups where the school is currently focusing its support. Your work will be vital in boosting phonics development in EYFS and supporting SATs preparation in Year 2.
The school is looking for someone who brings energy, initiative, and confidence to the role. While experience is valued, the team also appreciates commitment and a willingness to learn. You'll be replacing a much-loved LSA who was vibrant, hardworking, and always ready to grow - and they're looking for someone just as dedicated.

the ideal candidate will:
• Have previous experience in an educational setting (preferable)
• Be confident supporting early phonics and Key Stage 1 learning
• Be enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable
• Have a calm and patient approach, especially when supporting children with additional needs
• Be excited about joining a school community rooted in care and high standards

why join this school?
• Work across two key stages with targeted support
• Be part of a Church of England all-through school with shared values
• Supportive, caring staff and leadership
• A fantastic working environment with space to grow professionally
• The chance to make a meaningful impact on children's learning and development
