MadiganGill are currently recruiting for a Social Values Co-Ordinator to join a client on a permanent basis in Gloucester.
The Social Value Coordinator will assist the client in integrating impact measurement and social value across various teams within the organisation. This role will act as a central resource, driving the development of systems, processes, and ongoing service enhancements.
The position also involves collaborating with supply chain partners to ensure social value commitments are met within contracts, while promoting smooth customer interactions through the use of digital tools and partnerships with community organisations.
Renumeration
Salary is negotiable, dependant upon experience alongside benefits some which are listed below:-

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement a framework for evaluating and monitoring community investment, ensuring it aligns with both the Clients strategy and the overarching corporate plan.
- Collaborate across internal departments, particularly within the customer facing teams, to embed a consistent approach to capturing social outcomes and impact.
- Establish effective monitoring and evaluation procedures for Community Foundation initiatives, sharing best practices with colleagues and external stakeholders to clearly demonstrate social impact.
- Apply strong project management skills to lead and coordinate internal and external teams on Social Value Projects
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including businesses, local governments, and national agencies, as directed by senior managers.
- Work in partnership with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging that enhances the visibility and reputation of the organisation's community efforts.
What we are looking for in an Applicant
- Previous experience in social value roles and engaging with communities within the construction industry.
- Someone who is self-motivated and confident in planning and executing social value initiatives - including activities such as organising events with local charities near project sites, or coordinating work placements and apprenticeships on live projects.
- Someone who has a solid understanding of the importance of tracking and reporting social value outcomes and data and then compiling and delivering those reports to senior management
