What you'll be doing;

• Perform preventative maintenance on various electrical systems (cranes, grabs, inverters, transformers, switchgear, etc.)
  
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across multiple systems
  
• Design, install and commission electrical circuits
  
• Interface with PLC controllers and demonstrate understanding of their operation
  
• Maintain and troubleshoot rotating equipment, motors, pumps, and conveyors
  
• Work with motorized valves and associated control gear
  
• Proficiently use electrical test equipment, workshop tools, and machinery
  
• Utilise computerized Maintenance Management systems and implement preventative maintenance procedures
  
• Report, diagnose, and remedy plant defects while proposing improvements
  
• Supervise company and contractor staff
  
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment while adhering to company health, safety, environmental, and quality systems
  

What we're looking for;

• Completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent with detailed knowledge of maintenance techniques
  
• Possess relevant maintenance qualifications, with 18th Edition certification being advantageous
  
• Ability to diagnose faults on electrical and mechanical systems
  
• Experience in a continuous process industry
  
• Capable of performing manual handling tasks
  
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization
  
• Willing to work weekends and out-of-hours when required, including being on-call
  
• Computer literate and able to learn computerised maintenance systems
  
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
  
• Flexible team player with strong problem-solving skills and effective oral and written communication abilities
