Multi Trades Recruitment are looking for an experienced Factory Production Manager for a permanent job within a high end bespoke joinery manufacturing environment, based in the Sutton area.

About The Job

The Production Manager will be responsible for a team of 20 staff within the factory

You will be responsible for:

* Managing production schedules

* Manage labour budgets and KPIs linked to Safety, Quality, People, Sustainability and Performance

* Implementing / managing quality control procedures

* Ensure client orders are completed on time and that quality standards and targets are met

* Collate and analyse data, putting together production reports

* Supervise and motivate a team of workers

* Review employee performance

* Undertaking and managing of monthly stock counts

* Ensure Goods in and Dispatch processes are upheld, including the use of daily check lists

Full-time permanent role

Salary £50,000 per annum

Mon to Fri

About You

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who has experience within a joinery / bespoke manufacturing background.

Accuracy is key within this role, we are looking for someone that can manage a bespoke production process from beginning to end, including all staff etc

The ideal candidate will be a person manager, who has great leadership skills & he ability to lead from the front.

Ability to 'get things done' in an efficient and timely manner

Must be able to work proactively and under pressure

Excellent reporting skills with a keen eye for attention to detail

Experience with continuous improvement techniques, Lean & Six sigma a distinct advantage


* Previous experience creating and maintaining production schedules

* Experience working with timber and painting systems, including the use of spray booths

* Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Excel

* Experience building and managing teams of production employees.
