Account Manager - SaaS | Hybrid | Derby
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Commission (OTE ~£1.5k) + Benefits
Location: Derby (Hybrid - 2-3 office days/month)
We're working with a growing SaaS provider that's looking to bring on a proactive Account Manager to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with B2B software experience, a passion for client success, and a solid background in account management or support.
You'll manage a portfolio of business clients, delivering excellent service, supporting onboarding, and identifying upsell opportunities. If you enjoy building relationships and helping clients get real value from a platform-this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities as
- Act as the main liaison for a set of assigned client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement
- Respond promptly to customer queries, offering functional and technical support where required
- Deliver compelling system demonstrations to prospects, new customers, and existing users
- Support onboarding processes including setup, training, and initial adoption
- Identify and pursue upsell opportunities to help clients benefit from additional features and services
- Work closely with the product and support teams to resolve issues, relay feedback, and continuously improve service delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM records including client interactions, feedback, and commercial opportunities
- Monitor client usage and engagement levels to ensure maximum platform value
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or similar
- Experience in B2B software environments and CRM systems
- Excellent communication skills and client-first mindset
- Confident presenting to clients and running product walk-throughs
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts
- SaaS or tech background (Fleet industry experience not required)
- Knowledge of customer lifecycle management and HubSpot is desirable
Package
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 base
- Commission scheme with OTE of approx. £1.5k annually (dependent on company targets)
