Lead Fitter | 4on 4off + 14-Day Break | Bonus + Benefits

Salary: £40,000 per annum
Shifts: 4on 4off over 7 weeks, followed by a 14-day rest.
Overtime: Available

We're hiring a Lead Fitter to take charge of day-to-day mechanical operations and maintenance on a dynamic and growing manufcaturing site. This is a great role for someone who's ready to lead from the front and keep production running at peak performance.

🔧 The Role:

Lead and prioritise preventative maintenance and urgent repairs

*

Service granulators, crushers, hydraulics, and more

*

Supervise and mentor Assistant Fitters

*

Ensure safety standards, accurate reporting, and shift handovers

About You:

*

Strong mechanical maintenance background with leadership experience

*

Skilled in MIG welding, with knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and ideally PLCs

*

Comfortable using Excel and reporting systems

*

Proactive and safety-focused, with strong fault-finding ability
