HGV 1 Driver Duties

As a Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver, your responsibilities will include:

Driving a curtain-sided HGV Class 1 vehicle

Transporting palletised general haulage goods

Trunking routes and up to 10 drops per shift

Some handball may be required

Starting from 05:00 onwards

Up to 3 nights out per week (£25 per night out allowance)

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements

To be considered for this HGV 1 / LGV 1 / C+E Driver role, you must have:

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence

Valid Driver CPC qualification card

Valid Digital Tachograph card

Minimum 2 years holding Class 1 licence

At least 3 months recent on-road HGV Class 1 experience

Immediate local interview and driving assessment available.

Pay & Benefits

£22.41 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay - PAYE)

Option for accrued holiday pay if desired

Night out allowance: £25 per night
