The Role:
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Primary School in Ashton. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), alongside general classroom assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 support to pupils with a range of SEN

Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour

Assisting with the planning and delivery of tailored interventions and support plans

Working closely with the SENCO and parents to monitor progress

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with children with SEN (essential)

A degree or relevant qualification (preferred)

A proactive and patient approach to supporting children's learning and development

Requirements:

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one (cost refunded after 20 working days)

A full 10-year career history with a minimum of 2 professional references (one from your most recent role)

Legal right to work in the UK
