Pay rate: Day £35.00
Are you a qualified Cardiac Physiologist who has worked within Hospital Settings? Do you have experience as a Lab-based Physiologist?
NHS Professionals have exciting opportunities for a Cardiac Physiologist to support our client trust. You will be working individually or as part of a team, helping to deliver high quality, evidence based holistic care to Cardiac patients. You will maintain key relationships with co-workers and other health care professionals across the Trust to ensure an effective service.
Oxford University Hospitals is a world-renowned centre of clinical excellence and one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK.The role will be based at John Radcliffe Hospital, which is a ten-minute drive from the city centre.
Single-handed or as part of a team, undertake clinical procedures on neonates, children and adults.
To be responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients and his/her relatives without direct supervision according to level of competency.
Assist in the delivery of treatment for heart disease including rapid access chest pain clinic, percutaneous coronary intervention and implantable devices. Participate in the emergency on-call rota.
Provide training and mentor support to undergraduate and other junior staff programmes.
To promote a collaborative approach to care whilst supporting and facilitating the learning of others.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
Qualified Cardiac Physiologist or Clinical Scientists required; Echo Cardiographers - Highly Desirable
Hospital Experience - Highly Desirable; Life Support training - Essential
Able to commit to working morning shifts from 08:00
