Job Title: Data Analyst Apprentice
Salary Range and Hours: Apprentice £23,549 hours per week
Contract Type: Full Time / Fixed Term - 2 years
Location: Horizon Business Centre, Broadland Business Park, Peachman Way, Norwich, NR7 0WF
We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our Strategy & Intelligence Team supporting the councils' evidence-led approach to decision making and leveraging the opportunity of their data. You will work as part of a small central business intelligence team, enabling data foundations like data quality improvement and providing analysis across services our Councils are responsible for delivering.
You will be expected to study for your Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship alongside your role; for which you will be given study time during your working hours.
The successful applicant will be a service focused team player, with an ability to communicate effectively with a range of people and an aptitude for getting insights out of data. You will be able to effectively manage your time, working as part of a team to design and deliver effective analysis solutions. You will also need to meet the minimum entry requirements for apprenticeships in England.
Being part of the Strategy & Intelligence Team will provide you with the opportunity to help our Councils to improve how they deliver services that support our residents, including building the broader organisations ability to leverage data. This work supports our strategic objectives to develop our data maturity as part of operating as modern Councils, to ensure that we provide value for money services by making the best use of our resources for the benefit of our residents.

Minimum entry requirements for apprenticeships in England include:
English and maths at Level 2 (GCSE 4 and above / A-C). If you have not previously achieved these grades, or if you are unable to provide evidence of the qualifications, then you may need to complete these qualifications during your apprenticeship training.
As this is a Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship, you should not already possess substantial skills or qualifications of the same level or higher, in this subject.
You must be a citizen of the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) or have lived in the UK or EEA for the past 3 consecutive years and have a Right to work in the UK.
