The Job Role:
To be responsible for developing, implementing and organising safety programs. To review and update institutional HSH policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.
Typical duties include:
- Support the top management in HSE policy and guidelines issue
- Take part in accident/ Incident Investigations
- Carry out analysis of accident/incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans
- Carry out any in house safety training
- Perform Risk Assessments
- Liaise between clients on safety related issues
- Assist the commercial, engineering and operations department in their dealings with clients in all issues concerned with health and safety
- Provide Technical support to senior management on any safety related subjects
- Conduct safety audits both internal and external
- Assist with field operations and carry out on site training and job management assistance
- Meeting customers for work scope preparation
The Successful Candidate:
Must have proven experience in a similar role.
- NEBOSH Certificate Min Requirement
- ISO Auditing experience
- Incident Investigation experience
- Knowledge of UK HSE Legislation
- Teacher /Training Experience
- Able to form good relationships
- Team working skills
- Good communication skills
- Effective organisational skills
