Help create classrooms where every child can thrive.
At the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster, we believe that every child deserves the right support to reach their full potential. As a SEND Inclusive Education Teacher, you'll help schools across the Bi-borough build inclusive environments that work for children and young people with EHCPs - giving them the tools and confidence and right interventions to succeed.
Working Style:
You'll be based in the Bi-Borough for four days a week, playing a key role in serving the local community through your school visits. Whether out on school visits, writing your notes of visit or attending meetings, you'll be part of a dedicated team making a real difference to residents' lives.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be visiting mainstream primary and secondary schools to support the effective delivery of EHCP provision. You'll observe students in class, model effective strategies, coach school staff, to help embed inclusive practice and ensure the right support is in place.
Using your experience and expertise, you'll write clear, evidence-based reports and share practical advice with schools and families to help guide decisions. You'll also work closely with teams across the council, health professionals and other partners, contributing to working groups and helping to shape our local approach to inclusion.
This is a varied role where you'll have the chance to make a visible difference in classrooms and schools across the Bi-borough.

Just as importantly, you'll be someone who communicates clearly, builds trust, and works collaboratively with school leaders, staff and families to create meaningful change.
