As the first point of contact for our visitors, residents and colleagues, your role as Receptionist is key to creating a positive and professional first impression.

This new role will be working within the Business Support Team where you will play a vital role in helping the team to provide and fulfil the administration needs required throughout the business as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of this role, the Receptionist's key responsibilities include…

  • Receiving, sorting, and distributing post, packages and deliveries for Crane Hill Lodge. Ensuring there is always an effective key management system in place.
  • Greeting visitors warmly and professionally, directing to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answering/ transferring incoming calls and emails for general enquires to the correct team.
  • Managing the reception area and meeting rooms, ensuring they are organised and tidy. Scheduling appointments, booking meeting rooms and assisting with administrative tasks such as photocopying and scanning.
  • Ensuring exceptional communication is carried out with all customers, colleagues, external partners, agencies and contractors to ensure the customer journey is positive, efficient and effective.

Person Specification…

  • 5 GCSEs grades 9- 4 or equivalent including English and Maths, is essential
  • NVQ in customer service level 2 is desirable
