Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Truck Sales Executive to join a dynamic sales team, responsible for managing and expanding retail sales within a designated region.
The successful candidate will play a key role in meeting company and manufacturer targets, while ensuring outstanding service delivery and full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell new trucks within a defined postcode area to meet company and manufacturer sales objectives.
- Achieve or exceed profit targets related to truck and associated service sales.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with both new and existing retail customers.
- Ensure vehicles and services meet all legal, contractual, and customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK sales regulations, including financial compliance, consumer rights, and health and safety standards.
- Respond to customer enquiries and complaints professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations using internal systems.
- Participate in required sales training and continuous professional development.
- If applicable, maintain valid HGV licence, CPC certification, and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives, which may include events outside regular working hours.
- Ensure all sales activities are carried out ethically and transparently, including clear communication of pricing, specifications, warranties, and service details.
- Maintain a company vehicle to a professional standard and report any issues promptly.
- Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and sales progress.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven sales experience, ideally within the truck or commercial vehicle sector.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, customer needs, and relevant UK legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence, CPC certification, and Tachograph Card are beneficial).
- Familiarity with sales systems and CRM platforms is advantageous.
- Professional personal presentation and attention to detail.
Hours of Work:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (40 hours/week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)
