About the Role

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of warehouse operations, including the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.


Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and check incoming deliveries.

  • Load and unload goods from vehicles.

  • Move stock around by hand, pallet truck, or forklift (if trained).

  • Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

  • Follow all health and safety procedures.

  • Assist with stock counts and inventory management.


Requirements
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential (training provided).

  • Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Team player with good communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.

  • Forklift licence (desirable but not required).

What do you need to be successful as a Warehouse Operative?

Essential:

  • Health and Safety conscious at all times
  • Team player committed to ensuring the completion of works in a safe and timely manner
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Keen to learn new skills
  • Comfortable working outside in all weathers

Desirable:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Valid or Expired Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
  • HGV licence
  • Valid or Expired Payloader / Shovel Licence
  • Experience in similar role such as port operative, stevedore, CSCS labourer, plant driver, forklift driver, shovel driver, vehicle banksman, slinger banksman, crane driver, quarry operative, warehouse operative, weighbridge is highly desirable
  • Experience operating a radio
