Job Title: Refuse Driver
Location: Lancaster
Hours: Full-time - Temporary
Hourly Pay: £15.37ph
We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Refuse Driver to join our team based in Lancaster. This is a hands-on role that plays an important part in keeping the local area clean, safe, and running smoothly.
IMMEDIATE START
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving refuse collection vehicles safely and responsibly
- Carrying out daily waste and recycling collections across Lancaster and surrounding areas
- Working as part of a crew to complete routes efficiently
- Conducting basic vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
- Providing a professional and courteous service to residents and businesses
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Good knowledge of road safety and driving regulations
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Previous refuse or waste industry experience is desirable but not essential
