Senior Account / Project Manager (12-18 Month FTC)

Denholm Associates are proud to be working in partnership with Perceptive to recruit a Senior Account / Project Manager to join their Edinburgh-based team on a 12-18 month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role within a specialist medical education agency, supporting and driving delivery across the team.

About the Role

This is not a standard Account Manager position. You'll take on a senior, oversight-focused role, ensuring projects run smoothly, teams are supported, and clients receive exceptional service.

You will help drive alignment across multiple workstreams, bringing clarity and structure while building trusted client relationships.

What You'll Be Doing

In this varied and high-impact role, you will:

• Oversee a portfolio of client accounts and projects, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget and to the highest quality
• Act as the bridge across the internal teams to ensure delivery, providing updates, insight and escalation where required.
• Lead, mentor and support the Account Management team, helping to prioritise workloads and maintain high standards
• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, understanding their objectives and proactively identifying opportunities
• Contribute to proposals, pitches and concept development
• Collaborate with designers, developers and subject matter experts to deliver engaging digital learning solutions
• Ensure content quality, consistency and accuracy across all outputs
• Support the delivery of webinars, workshops and online events where required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can step in quickly, bring seniority, and add immediate value.

You'll likely have:

• Healthcare isn't a requirement but we would like to see someone from a digital agency, EdTech, or similar environment background.
• A strong track record of managing multiple complex projects and stakeholders
• Experience overseeing or mentoring teams, even if not in a formal line management role
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, impactful work
