We're working with a well-established food production business that is expanding its farming support team. They're looking for reliable, practical individuals to assist farms during busy, labour-intensive periods and help drive the highest standards of animal welfare and productivity.
The Role
As a Breeder Service Team Member, you'll work closely with farm teams on a wide range of tasks, including:
- Supporting bird vaccination and transfers to laying farms
- Assisting with chick placement, bird grading and weighing
- Helping with flock transshipment
- Egg collecting and sampling
- General hands-on support across farming operations
This is a varied, active position where you'll develop specialist skills in poultry husbandry and gain valuable experience within a leading agricultural environment.
What We're Looking For
- Someone comfortable working independently and using their initiative
- A genuine interest in farming and animal welfare
- A willingness to learn new skills and get involved in practical, hands-on tasks
- A full UK driving licence (a shared work vehicle is provided)
Hours & Benefits
- 5-day rota across 7 days, with occasional 6th day based on business needs
- 40 hours per week
