Admissions Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Admissions Manager on a permanent full-time basis, working 37 hours per week across Monday to Friday.

A core part of the role will be line managing admissions colleagues and ensuring the delivery of high-quality customer service across a range of different activities including providing impartial information, advice and guidance to prospective and existing customers in person, and via our telephone enquiries service and email.

The post holder will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance of the college FE course admissions and enquiries systems. A methodical approach to work, strong attention to detail and a knowledge of customer records/CRM systems is essential.

Much of the work is time-sensitive and can be intensive and pressurised. Consequently, the successful applicant will need well-developed interpersonal, IT and organisational skills, have strong communication skills and be able to work well under pressure.

An enthusiastic approach to work with a 'can do' attitude, with the ability to work under your own initiative is essential. Flexibility is also key, as there will be some evening and weekend work required for recruitment events at the main campus and at our satellite centres.
